I'm Mrinal Chandra Sarkar, a statistician and data analyst based in Kolkata, India. I work at the intersection of statistical theory and applied data analysis, with a focus on making sense of messy, real-world data.

Interests

My work spans regression modeling, exploratory data analysis, SQL-based analytics, and machine learning. I'm particularly interested in the assumptions and diagnostics that underpin statistical models — the parts that textbooks often skip.

Outside of data, I enjoy reading about the history of mathematics and probability theory.
